On 5th November, Smith Madden Creative Agency were honoured to sponsor our client Wishlist as Social Media sponsors.
Since 1998, Wishlist has been purchasing vital medical equipment, funding support services, hospital accommodation, research, staff education, and so much more.
Wishlist work hard to fund the following essential health services:
Medical Equipment: Wishlist has directed more than $15 million towards medical equipment and infrastructure to enhance the hospital experience.
Support Services: From music, laughter and pet therapy, Wishlist funds the little things that can make a big difference.
Accommodation: Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Wishlist offers a ‘home away from home’ for ongoing medical treatment.
Education: Staff scholarships are available to SCHHS staff to attend relevant work-related workshops and seminars.
Research: Wishlist has directed more than $2 million to foster and develop medical research on the Sunshine Coast.
Wishlist Centre: Coming soon, the Wishlist Centre will sit opposite the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, providing a new level of hospital accommodation to support patients and their families.
Each year Wishlist directs more than $1 million to priority needs within the Sunshine Coast’s local health service through fundraising at key events.
This year’s Spring Carnival raised $287,000 dollars through the sale of tickets, raffles, auctions and donations. Wishlist’s Spring Carnival is the Sunshine Coast’s annual premier networking and fundraising event for high-profile local businesses. The money raised from the event will go directly towards funding Wishlist’s support of Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health services. This money is vital to providing medical equipment, support services, hospital accommodation, research, staff education, and so much more.
A few highlights from the day included live music, fashion illustrations, floral instalments, VIP bars, Hot 91 hosts Sam & Ash, fashion shows, live auctions, powerful speakers, poetry readings, and an outdoor stage with live music and fireworks!

Smith Madden Creative Agency were proud to support the event and its sponsors as the official Social Media Sponsor. In addition to this, we were pleased to donate a branding package to the major auction. This package could be tailored to new or existing businesses looking for a fresh look. Included in this package was a Brand Suite (including strategy, identity, & design), Website Design & Content, Photography, and a Social Media strategy.
We are overjoyed to announce that our branding package sold for $9,000 which went directly to Wishlist health support funds. We look forward to working closely with the successful winners to enhance their branding and connect with their community.
For this year’s Spring Carnival our agency provided support with graphic design, social media management, social media strategy, photography and video production. We cannot thank the Wishlist team enough for their hard work to raise money for such a vital cause. We look forward to future sponsorship opportunities with the organisation, and are so pleased to continue regular marketing and design work for this valued client of ours.
