Wishlist’s Spring Carnival 2022 Fundraising Event
Wishlist Sunshine Coast Health Foundation’s 13th Wishlist Spring Carnival raising funds for Australian-first Wishlist Centre and vital healthcare
On Friday 2nd September Wishlist Sunshine Coast Health Foundation hosts its annual Wishlist Spring Carnival.
Since its inception in 2009, the Wishlist Spring Carnival has raised more than $1.76 million to enhance public healthcare on the Sunshine Coast through providing vital medical equipment, research and education, and support services to patients and families.
Already sold out, 2022 marks the event’s 13th year, and aims to raise $220,000.
Funds raised will be directed to the Wishlist Centre, an Australian-first facility that will offer affordable accommodation, primary healthcare and complementary therapies under one roof. The centre is expected to open November 2022, opposite the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
“We are thrilled to have sold out yet another Wishlist Spring Carnival. Funds raised on the day will be directed to our new Wishlist Centre and to crucial patient support services including music therapy, the local clown doctors service, delta therapy dogs and Stacey the Calm Fairy which make all the difference for patients and families in their times of need. We have an incredibly generous community of locals and businesses who make our largest one-day fundraising event dreams come true,” Wishlist Fundraising and Partnerships Manager Lisa Wilson said.
Supporting the event this year are major sponsors Walter Iezzi and Pacific Jaguar Land Rover, along with the other partnering sponsors: Ray White Maroochydore, Poole Group, Toomey Family Law, Travis Schultz & Partners, Sunshine Coast Airport, Sunshine Coast Convention Centre, 7NEWS Sunshine Coast, Billy J, Hot 91, Get Kitted Clothing Co., AVPartners, Dani Morrison Studios, Heads of Noosa, Twenty Twenty Distillery and Sunshine Coast Airport.

The event raised an incredible $287,186 in just five hours thanks to its major live auction prizes, silent online auction and donations, making it the most successful Wishlist Spring Carnival to date.
